Meanwhile, one dancer struggles with the hip-hop trio and when the judges can't decide who should go home, that can mean only one thing — a dance-off.

- Amanda C was the winner of the audition group challenge. Instead of getting to choose a routine, she was assigned a lyrical solo.
- This is the first episode to feature a dance off during eliminations.
- The official episode description says the weekly theme is "Broadway" however Abby says during the episode that the theme was "New York, New York".
- After Elisabeth was spared from elimination, her interview footage from Let the Dancing Begin was shown, as she was in her contemporary costume.
