The second season of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition premiered September 3, 2013 on Lifetime.

The second season of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition brings together 11 young dancers who are all national title holders- competing for a $100,000 cash prize and a scholarship to New York's Joffrey Ballet School. Each of the dancers are coached by their mother, which brings new meaning to the term "stage mom" as the kids learn new routines and compete in challenges that test their skills. They then take the stage to perform before a live audience and the judging panel which consists of Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller, choreographer Richard Jackson and newcomer Rachelle Rak, a veteran Broadway performer. A new twist this season is a call-back card the judges can use to save one dancer from the elimination process, which happens each week until the "Ultimate Dance" winner is determined.[1]

12 1 Make It Count! September 3, 2013
With 11 of the country's most promising young dancers selected from more than 1,000 national title holders, this season of Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition is back and bigger and better than ever. The performers are all vying for a $100,000 cash prize and a scholarship to the Young Dancers Program at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. This week's theme is "Fame", as they gear up for their first performance in front of judges Abby Lee Miller, Broadway star Rachelle Rak and celebrity choreographer Richard "Richy" Jackson. Alliances begin to form and the dance floor heats up as the youngest contestant rubs one of the moms the wrong way.
13 2 Dare to Be You September 10, 2013
With this week's competition theme as "Dare to be You," all the dances are inspired by Lady Gaga. Under the eyes of this week's challenge choreographer Richy Jackson, the young competitors struggle to embrace their own originality. The moms crack down hard on the dancers, encouraging them to "bring it" to the dance floor and one young dancer comes close to breaking down when she can't remember her routine. When one mom throws another mom under the bus, things get ugly.
14 3 Gods and Mortals September 17, 2013
Abby is the dance goddess of the week and the dancers strive to attain dance immortality when the theme is "Gods and Mortals." There are nine dancers left and the performers in last week's bottom group struggle to prove that they deserve to be in the competition. The skill is "Power" and this week's challenge winner is Ally and she is allowed to make all the dance assignments and quickly discover holding the power isn't always easy. Melanie gets extreme when she overhears the others mothers talking about her daughter's weaknesses.
15 4 Vegas Show Stoppers September 24, 2013
"Las Vegas" is this week's theme and the remaining dancers are tested with styles they've never encountered before. One mom finally snaps and takes on Abby after she gives one too many criticisms about her daughter. With the pressure of the surprise immunity reward building, tempers between the moms reach a boiling point.
16 5 Anything Can Happen October 1, 2013
Abby decides to mix things up with the theme for the week being "Unconventional." Anything can, and will happen, starting with the remaining dancers battling Abby in a martial arts challenge. The winner's mom gets to decide which dancers land in the bottom three, leading to new fights and some surprise allegiances. To complicate matters further, each dance involves a giant, and sometimes unpredictable, prop.
17 6 Broadway Backstabbers October 8, 2013
Rachelle Rak, a veteran of "The Great White Way". leads the challenge for the "Broadway" themed week and blows the kids and moms away with her sassy moves. The challenge winner's mom earns the animosity of the others by bragging about her child. The pressure is on for the dancer who chooses the first solo of the season... will they triumph, or go down in flames?
18 7 Fairytales Come to Life October 15, 2013
The reward for the challenge this week is a private lesson with Abby Lee Miller herself, which some of the kids desperately want to win... while others would do ANYTHING not to. The pressure of the competition has the moms harping on their children and one mom even sells out her own kid to the judges for not working hard enough. Will Abby be the dancer's fairy godmother...or evil stepmother?
19 8 Wild West Showdown October 22, 2013
It's Wild West week and the dancers face off in Abby's O.K. Corral. Animosity toward one dancer is building and her mom goes all-out to defend her. Another dancer finally gets the solo her mother has demanded, but will it be her downfall? Her arch-nemesis certainly hopes it will and doesn't hesitate to say so.
20 9 Your Worst Nightmare October 29, 2013
With this week's theme of "Nightmares", the dancers tackle all kinds of things that go bump in the night... while their moms have trouble keeping their inner monsters in check. The claws come out when one mom tries to sabotage another with dance assignments. And then, the worst nightmare of all, teen angst hits some of the dancers and they turn on their mothers.
21 10 Divas in the House November 5, 2013
It's "Diva" week and our dancers and their moms are happy to oblige. In a fierce dance version of kickball where the kids get to choose their dance styles one-by-one, leaving one unlucky dancer with the styles no one else wanted. Some of the dancers choose wisely, but others find themselves on the wrong side of the biggest diva in the house - Abby Lee Miller, of course.
22 11 Down the Rabbit Hole November 12, 2013
All of the dances this week are inspired by "Alice in Wonderland". With the numbers dwindling, the competition heats up more than ever and when one mom sabotages everyone, her daughter pays the price. Nerves are at an all-time high and nothing is off limits when it comes to making the final three.
23 12 Meet Abby's Newest Ultimate Dancer November 19, 2013
It's finally time to choose this year's Ultimate Dancer. The finalists are so close they can taste it and they'll do anything to win the $100,000 and a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School in New York. Everything is on the line and every move they make counts. May the best dancer win!
